A Message from Cristina
2008
Dear Friends,
It has been nearly fifteen years since I posted this web site, and in that time many things have happened in my life.
In 1999 I retired from performing and turned my energies to other matters more befitting someone of my age, after all who has ever heard of a 55 year old contortionist? Well let me tell you, within 6 months I felt as though I would just become a vegetable, the lifestyle did not suit me at all!
I felt the need to start training again, so I did, and within a couple of months of flexing and the right diet I regained my "normal" condition. To cut a long story short I am now back performing again and in August 2008 I will be celebrating my 64th birthday! My message to all who may think they are too old to do what they used to do?
Use any excuse you wish, EXCEPT YOUR AGE!
God Bless.

I guess there are a number of you wondering just how one becomes a contortionist and how it feels to be in possession of such a unique gift. Well let me tell you folks it feels great!
God gives each of us different gifts which begin as a tiny little seed embedded in side us when we are born - It is up to us as individuals to develop our gifts so that they may grow in beauty and stature to be shared for the benefit and enjoyment of our fellow mankind.
My desire is that when you view my pictures or see me perform, that you will be blessed. I hope also that you will be enriched and inspired by the realization that God has given each of us a body and mind which is capable of great things - far greater than anything most of us can ever imagine.
I do not want you to dismiss what I do as something that is freakish or unobtainable, but to understand that I can do what I do because firstly, I recognized at a very early age that I had been given this special gift, secondly I placed tremendous value on it, and thirdly I nurtured it to fruition, spending years of my life in dedication and practice in perfecting my special art form.
In sharing it with you my prayer is that you too will fully utilize the gifts God has given to you and that in doing so more will be achieved so that in turn you too may enrich the lives of others - May God bless you as you go on your journey.
With love and blessing,
Cristina
P.S. No two contortionist are alike, some are tall and some are short, some are "front benders" and others "back benders" , male and female. What ever their gifts are they all share one thing in common, they have dedicated their lives to this unique art form. To visit the web sites of other contortionists I recommend you visit: http://www.contortionhomepage.com/
